Donation to THE TREVOR PROJECT

When I decided to set up booths at Pride celebrations this summer, one of the first things I resolved to do was to dedicate a percentage of the sales to a charitable organization.
I chose The Trevor Project: “the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to (LGBTQ) young people…”

The work this organization does is invaluable, especially in our current sociopolitical climate that sends the message that to be queer is to be lesser-than. Together we can stand up and create a network of love and support that our youth deserve.

My booth this year at Panhandle PRIDE generated a donation of

$75

to this great cause, and I hope there will be more to come all summer!

Relatedly, after submitting my donation, I became curious about how I could use my time & skills to volunteer; all the possibilities they offer are so exciting! I submitted my volunteer application right then!

If you have time you would like to dedicate to a great cause, please visit THE TREVOR PROJECT to learn how to volunteer and help save lives.

In the meantime, I am pleased to provide everyone with a link for DONATING in the honor and spirit of Pride.

No amount is too small; it all makes a huge difference. I know times are hard all over, but I know that our spare change can save lives here.

Please follow my lead and donate today!

Happy and safe Pride celebrations to everyone showing their support and flaunting their truth this summer season! ❤
